EV Week 2016 Best EVer!

The 5th Annual 2016 EV Week was a huge success during Fleet Week weekend in San Francisco at Pier 27.Along with the spectacular airshows, attendees were treated to FREE test-drives and tacos in the latest fuel cell electric cars including the Toyota Mirai, Honda Clarity, and Hyundai Tucson, along with the KIA Soul and latest Nissan Leafs.Electric bikes, motorcycles and solar charging, educational displays, EV related informational booths and demonstration areas helped make the two-day event an engaging experience for all.The weekend kicked off with a VIP reception at LYFT HQ where guests heard from executives from LYFT, PG&E, CALSTART, and the SF Department of the Environment, on "EVs - the Next 5 Years!"; the discussion was moderated by SF Chronicle's David Baker.Special thanks to EV Week sponsors, PG&E, Honda, KIA, Envision Solar, Nissan, California Fuel Cell Partnership, and the PEV Collaborative, and our supporting partners PlugShare, Sunpower, CleanPowerSF, FreeWire, The New Wheel, and the City of San Francisco!

Charge Across Town has been operating in California for five years – educating people about electric transportation and the future of a carbon-free world. We have held FREE educational events from San Diego to the Oregon border, bringing the latest electric cars and EV charging technologies to urban, suburban and rural communities. We have conducted 1000s of experiential events with vehicle test-drives, provided information on vehicle rebate programs and incentives, collected survey data, followed up with people to determine impact, and shown that when people test drive an EV they are more likely to buy or lease one. When we started in 2012, California had 35,000 electric vehicles on the road – today there are over 250,000 and growing.California leads the way! Please check out our work atwww.chargeacrosstown.org, andhelp us put fossil fuel in the rear-view mirror by donating to our cause at
